The jewellery of Leni Adam tells the story of Swiss gemstones, family tradition, handcraft, design and sustainability.
Leni Adam belongs to the third generation of dedicated jewellers - “Adam Uhren Bijouterie” has been run as a family business since 1935. Already during her childhood, Leni spent a lot of time in the family company. These early childhood experiences triggered her passion for jewellery and gemstones.
During her law studies in Zurich and Geneva, she successfully designed her first collections in the goldsmith’s atelier of “Adam Uhren Bijouterie”. She completed jewellery classes at “Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design” in London and at “Schule für Gestaltung” in Zurich and obtained a certificate of Corporate Responsibility from the University of Geneva. The desire to combine her passion for jewellery, gemstones and sustainable corporate development led her to the creation of these collections.
The two collections are dedicated to the grandmothers of Leni Adam, Elsa and Frieda, and bear their names. The jewels are fine, elegant and of high quality. They are suitable for everyday wear, as well as for special occasions. The variety of gemstones and gold alloys reflect the individuality and uniqueness of the wearers. Jewellery accompanies a woman through all phases of life, evoking memories, places and emotions.
Leni Adam bears the “Oekogold” label. She does not use precious metals sourced directly from a mine. All precious metals used by Leni Adam are recycled and come from sources certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) in London.
Each piece of jewellery is handcrafted in the goldsmith’s atelier of the “Adam Uhren Bijouterie” in Olten. The goldsmith is a highly qualified and experienced professional.
Leni Adam offers high-quality, exclusive and fine jewellery, all handcrafted in Switzerland. Leni oversees all steps involved in making jewellery and ensures fair working conditions are guaranteed.
Understanding the origin of the gemstones is important to Leni Adam. Every jewel of the Elsa collection was discovered with dedication and care by volunteers passionate about gemstones and mountains. Preservation and respect for nature is key to the ethos of Leni Adam.
